The Lumina Dental Laser works by emitting a special light that targets and destroys tooth decay, leaving a healthy tooth structure. There is no uncomfortable vibration felt with the traditional drill approach.
Additionally, as the laser is so precise only the decayed part of the tooth is removed, conservatively treating the healthy part of the tooth. Best of all, the laser is so quite and vibration-free most fillings can be accomplished with little or no anaesthetic.
